Today in the video surveillance industry, the term “Deep Learning” and other terms such as machine learning and neural networks are often confused. An article by IBM helps clear up some of the misunderstanding:

On the other hand, AI is so dynamic that the definitions are evolving with time. Nevertheless, it is important to be precise in the use of the terms to avoid confusion among customers as to what technology they are actually buying.
